FIERY PUNCH SMOOTHIE

Tropical Africa is blessed with lots of fruits, herbs, and spices. One of the interesting things are the much-anticipated seasonal fruits that pop up seasonally to flood the markets alongside the usual ones. Fiery punch smoothie blends sweet flavour of tropical pineapples, with the fiery heat and flavour of ginger, and the subtler but delicious flavours of cucumbers and carrots.

This smoothie is easy to make, with affordable and everyday ingredients. It’s also a blend packed with immune boosters and antioxidants.

To make it, you’ll need:

  • Pineapple
  • Cucumber
  • Ginger
  • Carrot juice

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Juice carrots
  2. Peel pineapple and cut into sizeable chunks
  3. Cut and peel cucumber slices
  4. Place pineapple, cucumber, ginger and place in a blender
  5. Add carrot juice and blend altogether
  6. Pour into a glass cup and enjoy!
